Music With Mark
The composition has existed since my days as part of The 92 J’s back in 2005. I am not even sure what i was listening to back then to regurgitate such a song, but it happened, and i stand by it! I do remember that it came together pretty easily. I used to write all of my songs back then sitting at my computer on nights that Erin worked. We lived in a spacious, but still somehow stuffy, apartment on the Bedford highway. I had a friend’s POD by Line 6, and recorded all the guitars in silence with a set of headphones. When Rock sent me his vocals, i was surprised that he picked this song because it had collected dust for so long. It still had those guitars from the 23 year old Mark. I ended up relearning and re-recording the whole thing to modernize it a bit. Now, it’s one of my favorite songs.

Chatter With Rock
First of, this song rip shit up! I would have to say my Chis Cornell influence is pretty obvious in the chorus :) It was almost quitting time at work one day and Mark sent me this track. So I gave it a quick listen and stayed late and finished track at my desk. You never know when the inspiration will catch you!

Lyrically it's about believing in yourself and wading through piles of negativity that other less fortunate people may care to sling. It's a little hard sometimes to put yourself out there with something you believe in cause there will always be the naysayers on the other side of the fence, and they always seem to be louder than those who support you. You almost have to be bulletproof mentally to do it, so this song is like a self pep talk!! :) It took me about 17 years to actually take a hold of my music career and start releasing my music, 19 years of work to catch up on makes it really easy to get out of bed everyday. It's nice to work with people who are like minded and willing to take a chance to do something greater!
